Sounds exactly like when my alternator stopped working and electrical power was running low.
Maybe you should check if your alternator delivers enough power to your battery and/or your battery is about to give up.

Usually Reboot is the answer. But check out battery and Alternator output.

Disconnect the battery for 30mins! Make sure you have the radio codes.

When you disconnect the battery -ve. for a few minutes, also clean the connectors of any oxidization with a round file down to bright metal. A smear of vaseline or heavy grease is good on the lead battery terminal posts after scraping with a blunt knife, and will inhibit further oxidization by excluding the oxygen in the air from the metal.

Check all other heavy-current connexions to the battery, e.g. -ve ground connexion to chassis direct from battery; ground strap from engine to chassis both ends.

If any connexion in the heavy current starter circuit shows the slightest resistance, even as little as .1ohm, large glitch spikes from the starter motor can appear on the 12volt line to the microprocessors. This type of resistance is not normal, it has diode characteristics. If after all this you still get bouts of microprocessor madness, the battery may be going higher resistance than normal, allowing spikes from the alternator (sometimes called alternator "hash") to affect stored memories and stored instructions getting them partly garbaged, and leading to erratic control. Again, this 'chemical resistance' is not straightforward.

Leedsman.
