Default Master clutch cylinder

i posted a while ago re slave cylinder, well a friends hubby is a mechanic and is back home for the weekend and he has taken a look at my car and has said in his opinion he is 99.9% sure its the master cylinder thats at fault as he bled the system etc and no air at all but still no pressure from the pedal, so now i was hoping you lovely people would be able to advise where i can source one from as ebay etc dont have them for my car, also he has said that they come as a complete unit with the slave is this correct as the ones i have found dont mention the slave, also as he goes back away again tomorrow he wont be able to fit me it and i am trying to convince hubby to do it but hes worried because its attached to the pedal etc,is it an hard job to do ? TIA xx

Unfortunately I don't know the answers to any of your questions but I'd be surprised if the master and slave were only sold as a pair. Tell your hubby he can't make it any worse than what it is. The easy bit is replacing the slave and/or master. The hard bit is bleeding the system afterwards. Good Luck.

Carparts4less and use discount code Saveme75. Or call JNL on 01276 63278 as they are the main importers for genuine Mopar Chrysler parts in the UK and a fraction of the cost of the main dealer.

Blimey, £160 seems a bit expensive. I hate to imagine what the dealers would charge!

Don't forget you'll also need some hydraulic fluid and a length of rubber hose.

managed to remove master clutch today despite hubbys protesting ! i took it apart and the spring inside has snapped so im presuming this is why i have not been able to buld any pressure up on my pedal, so have found a company near by that supplies hydraulic clutch parts so fingers crossed tomorrow when i call he has a spring
