Default New Chrysler Voyager owner!

Hi there,

Just bought my first car an 98 Voyager from ebay which as a few defects I was hoping to get help with.

I am a total newb to cars

* Spedometer & Rev counter = Spedo is stuck at its Max and Rev counter stuck at its Min, both refuse to move

* Rear Washer and A/C buttons = Both work fine but lights blink for the first 15 mins that the car is running

* Central locking = Key fobs will not activate the C/L and when manually turning key its pot luck which doors pop open!

Thanks for your help in advance

Set your cooling onfull cold, set it to panel vents, blower motor to high. Hold the wash and rear wiper buttons on the control head until all the lights come on.

It will run through different tests, different lights will flash and alternate, and when it is done the rear wiper button will flash if everything passed. Push it and everything will go out. If other lights still flash when it is done, you have failed the cooldown test because theA/C doesn't work right, or a door calibration did not pass.

Is the keyfob dead? Replace the batteries, and if it doesn't work, you may need to callibrate the keyfobs with the car. It may also be a fuse problem.

Don't know about the spedo and revometer, sorry. Could be shorting wires or it could be fuses.

tried the test, at the end the Recirculation control and Air con lights stay lit.

Is there a list of error codes anywhere I can check for whats wrong?

Going to get hold of some batteries today.

thanks
