Default New GV purchased

Just got myself a 2007 (57) Grand Voyager Exec 47K miles to replace the 2.5 CRD that we've had from new in 2001.

Have to say the 2.8 Auto is a really smooth drive compared to the 2.5L manual.

Anyhow, our 2.5 (51 plate) has provided sterling service in the 15 years we've owned it.. 160K miles and still going, it's carried everything from trees, plasterboards, furniture to kids n dogs !!

It's a bit battered, has a couple of dings n scabs on the bodywork, the interior is good (ish) Timing belt & water pump changed at 127K miles. Air con recently re-gassed. I had the clutch replaced as well as crank oil seal recently, but it's now got a judder at take off and a whine from the diff, so maybe a gearbox issue, still drives OK though.

Has all documentation V5 etc, one owner from new, MOT till end of Aug 2016

If anyone wants a cheap run about or want's something to fix up for around £700 PM me

a lot of vehicle for £700.

I wish they had kept the manual option when the went to 2.8, the autobox is not bad but I much prefer a manual.

Regards
Richard

I just spray it all over with some cheapo 99p engine degreaser from the local discount store, brush it in with a paintbrush, wait 15 mins.

Cover alternator with a plastic bag, hose it all off, wait for it to dry and coat liberally with GT85 or similar... simple as

It's for sale for £500 on ebay if anyone is interested
