Default new to site...a couple of electrical questions

I'm glad I found this site. Hopefully I can contribute but right now I need help. Our 2000 Limited has door locks that will randomly lock and unlock by themselves. It doesn't matter if the van is stopped or moving/engine running or not. We always use the key fob to unlock the doors but could a disarm switch inside the door still be the culprit? I was going to put in a junkyard BCM hoping to fix the problem. I was told by a dealer parts guy that he would need the numbers off the old BCM and my VIN then after the install it would need to be programmed. This leads me to believe that I can't put a junkyard BCM in myself to try to fix the problem. Am I right or can I just swap the old one out? I cleaned the battery cables, checked the IOD fuse. I pulled the 40 amp door lock/seat fuse from under the hood to prevent my 11 month old from getting locked in the van again and the ABS and the airbag lights came along with the blower motor and turn signals shutting down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I own a -97 Grand Voyager and am having the same problem right now.
Putting it into the garage tomorrow (guarante rep) to change the sensor int the drivers door.
I cleaned it myself a couple of months ago, but the problem re-appeared now.
So my advise: change the sensor inside the drivers door.

yep and yep but do not install a jumk yard BCM after 99 or so any computer that is swapped with infect the other computers and well cause all kinda crap. the days of swapping computers is gone. Codes and vin numbers are programed into the computers so when they dont match they go crazy.
