if you unplugged the MAF and there was no change, then that's a good sign that the MAF is faulty or partially faulty (it's rare for a MAF to totally fail). To be sure you need to look at the live data from the ECU for the actual vs desired values for the MAF readings.

cheers budy if there is no change when I get my replacement I will book it in and get it checked

In relation to your MAF and no power from stand still, check your charge/boost pipework and intercooler for leaks.

good idea mate thanks , where are the charge/boost pipes is that around the turbo area
