Hey AlanC, I hooked up to the parallel printer port on the Spitfire and the diagnosis went something like: check for spark; check for fuel; check for compression; engine should run - else replace the flux capacitor and jump start with 1.21 Gigawatts. Time warped.

Hey Munro, you might get better results using the flux capacitior from a GT6. From 1973 Triumph used a low energy flux capacitor in the GT6 that only used 0.83 Gigawatts. Apart from improving the boot-up procedure, it also enabled the Spitfire to play true quadraphonic 8 track cartridges through it's surround sound speaker system. I was a TR5 man myself so I do know a lot about these things
