can anyone help,recently brought 2.5 crd 2002 within 2 weeks turbo blew had it replaced but now its started to smoke quite bad,not using and oil and runs well,had the egr off and cleaned then blanked off tried to get the ecu read but cannt read anything with 3 machines not sure what to do as chrysler want £100 to plug in,doing the key test its showing p100

does anybody know anyone with in staffordshire area how doesnt charge the earth and is recommended

 

P100 should be a code related to the MAF sensor.

 

i have unplugged the maf sensor and it makes NO difference at all is this right?

If you have unplugged the MAF sensor you are now running on the (tps) throttle position sensor that gives you help to get home on reduced load....But sometimes reduced load as it might be running better due to MAF sending crap signals to ECU...
Try a second hand one to make sure...

Mine CRD 2.8 doesn't light up the MIL light if i disconnect the MAF (strange)...
The fact that you havn't difference if you disconnect the MAF, could means that your MAF is broken.
Try to buy a new one in Ebay with about 35 €.
