P1130 - again

P1130 - again
Half filled with fuel on Friday (tank was almost empty) and when I pulled away from the station, the engine refused to rev - switched the engine off and started it up, and it was fine. Then later on, at various times, the engine was 'hunting' on idling, refusing to rev, or almost stalling itself and 'bouncing' back into life. The fuel consumption did seem to improve to around 44mpg on a long run, but at the end of the journey, I still got the erratic idling.
When it was almost emply again, filled to the top with fuel and did a read out of the error codes - the P1130 flashed up about a dozen times. I know that this is new as I check the codes a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't showing this error. So far, since then, it seems to be running very well.
Could anyone answer me these questions:
1. Could this error code be caused by bad fuel - it only seems (so far) to have been on that single half tank of fuel?
2. I assume that it flashes up the P1130 for each time it has happened, but is there a way to clear all of the existing P1130 error codes so that I can monitor it for any new occurrences of the code?
I've had the P1130 code when I first got the car, but at that time, the symptoms were different, in that the engine cut completely on hard acceleration. Any other suggestion on this would be helpful.
