Default Power sliding door a different problem now !

I know I will have to change the power latch on the sliding door as it does the classic pop to unlock and nothing else !, although most of the time it closes under its on power, but today when it is closing to gets almost to the end and just stops !, leaves a small gap and does this 9 times out of 10 !.

Is this still connected with the power latch or is it another problem ?.

Many Thanks.

Had a look today in the plastic chain type loop, seemed okay and the black wire is tight, it always stops in the same position about 3 inch from closing, could this be a wire or the latch.

It also makes a much stronger 'Ping' noise when it unlatches (But then does not move under its own power) than it ever done before.

Thanks.
