Today the drivers side power window wasn't working. It was about 10 minute ride, window was all the way down. Went shopping came back out and it worked, however when I put the window all the way down with the "auto" feature after the window is all the way down I hear a "click...click" noise that I've never heard before. Any ideas off hand what the problem could be? I've owned the van now for a year, my Mom has had the vehicle since brand new this has never happened before.

 

not sure what kind of van it is ,but im going to guess its a caravan....... sounds like the window regulator is going bad. this is common.i've replaced alot in the last 5 years. it get over heated and when you went shopping it had a chance to cool down ,hope this was helpfull.

 

It happened again today. This time I just opened the door and slammed it shut and then it worked fine....hopefully that gives another clue.
