Radio Code - 5 digits not 4? Will it work?

Radio Code - 5 digits not 4? Will it work?
I didn't have the 4 digit code for the Audio system (DVD & Sat Nav) in my 2007 Grand Voyager (UK) so the dealer took out my system and emailed the car reference to Chrysler.
The next day Chrysler emailed the code for the my car and it was 5 digits, I double checked with them and it is 5 digits that Chrysler emailed them.
From reading in the manual and online the code should be 4 digits. So my question is will the 5 digit code actually work?
I will soon find out for sure as my Mopar battery has died and has to be recharged every few days so I am off to order Exide 082SE as from all reports that one does the job.
