Rear powered stow away seats 2011 Grand Voyager Mk5
Hi all,
I'm having a problem with two powered seat related issues, but the most annoying is that the rear seats that have buttons to set them in one of three positions seem to do nothing.
I can manually power the seats if i strip back and use a fused external 12V power line to drive them so it looks like the controller might be shot away.
Does anyone know where it is situated in the car? If remove and clean terminals etc, am I likely to get some luck here or would I need a replacement part?
In addition to this, the front powered driver's seat will move but in short bursts... sliding back and forward it will only move about in inch at a time then you have to release the switch and push it again. However, once programmed the two choices will set perfectly well.
Finally, the seat no longer rolls back when I park up to allow for easier getting in and out of the car.
I'm hoping these kinds of issues are known about and have relatively easy fixes as I'm dreading the thought of having to multimeter test everything (I'm not very good at such things).
Any ideas to try would be wonderful. Please ask any questions to clarify if I have not been clear enough in my explanations.
Cheers all,
Rob.
