Question Replacing the chairs, is it possible?

Hi there,

We're happy owners of 2005 Grand Voyager SE with Stow&Go. We have a 7 seat version e.g. 4 captains chairs and a three seat back. I'm considering to replace the fabric interior by purchasing 6 secondhand single captains chairs made of leather because of the kids and their lemonade and all.

Is this a job one can do by oneself? Besides: is it possible at all? I'm not sure because of the Stow&Go system and the fact i'm changing a back seat into two separate chairs.

Hope you can help me out. Fyi: we have an european model, we live in the Netherlands (dont know of it makes a difference compared to US models)

changing the front and middle seats should be no problem - as long as the seats also came from a sto and go. But I doubt you would be able to fit two singles in place of a split 1 and 2 rear, unless you wanted to make new mounting holes or a very convoluted bracket arrangement and you'd loose the stow and go functionality.

You should be able to get a complete set of front, middle and rear seats in leather from a breakers....I agree leather is a lot easier to clean up after the kids and dogs than cloth.

Regards

Richard

Thank you Richard!

After your reply I contacted a few breakers and it seems like I've found a few complete interiors. So it looks like we'll have a fun saterday replacing some chairs soon.
