Smile rear shocks

i own a 2004 town and country awd. did they all come with nivomat rear shocks.if so how do u tell if they need replacing?

No they didn't all come with nivomat shocks. The nivomat shocks are much larger than the regular shocks. The first sign that they need to be replaced is when they are leaking. You can check the load leveling by measuring ride height, adding weight (have a couple of people get in the back) and jouncing the rear a few times. The ride height should be within an inch of the starting ride height.
