you can reprogram the remote control of a voyager in 2001?

Looks a very intricate fob, unlock button and close button. If I could get power to my shed I could use one of these to open it instead of finding the key and having to stick it in the lock. Did someone say auto opening shed door as that could be possible with the rear door opener on a voyager.
