sliding door stuck locked & liftgate won't stay open
2006 Town & Country:
1. Last week my drivers side sliding door got stuck in the locked position. I locked the van with the remote and now the door won't unlock manually or with the remote.
2. If I open my liftgate with the remote or inside car button, it raises but then closes automatically, even if I try to stop it from closing. If I open the gate manually, it will not stay open unless I hold it open.
Help!

Have you unlocked the side door and tried opening it from the inside and outside using the handles? I'd also try from the inside and put a little bit of pressure against the door, incase it is just stuck
For the tailgate, you might need new struts.

Just searched google, as you talk about pulling up manually. It's a different setup from my 2006.
This might help, I don't know if you can get the door panel off easily when the doors shut though.
