After sitting overnight (usually) my t&C does this: phase 1ut the key in turn the switch and the motor turns over once or twice(then stops trying to turn over) rapid ticking follows. phase 2:turn the key again same as phase 1. phase 3: turn the key motor turns over and cranks but with a slight drag. This has been the norm for bout 2 weeks now. battery terminals are clean as a whistle. No I have not taken anything off to get tested nor have I let it run and take one of the terminals off to test the alt(this will be done today). Other than that I dont have a clue.

Yep replace the battery. Just had almost the exact same thing happen to my wife's 03 t & c. Problem solved. Except for now the dvd player is not working for some odd reason but the radio and cd player work just fine.
