Default Town and Country driver heated seat not working

2014 Town and Country 30th anniversary edition
25K miles

Hey guys, newbie to the forum here. I’m having issues with my wife’s Town and Country’s driver side heated seat. Most of the time when I turn it on, it remains on for 2 seconds and then shuts off. Every once and a while it will stay on. I’ve checked the connections under the seat. Unplugged them and plugged them back in and didn’t help any. Any insight on this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

No I have not found a fix yet. I’ve just been tolerating it until I get it into a shop to have it looked at. The dealer wants like $150 just for the initial cost to bring it in and look into it. Parts and labor on top of that.

Default seat heater

I was having problem with heated set in chrysler town and country. It would heat up if I was not in the seat, turn off within seconds of turning on when I was in it. My husband helped me to trouble shoot. This might be worth a try: there is a small black junction (?) box in the front, under the driver's seat. This plugs in to a larger black box. We "unplugged" this (had to pinch the sides to slide out) and then put it back in. This seemed to work. Also jiggling this connection is also what worked for us. Worth a try!

Morning Alan
I believe i figured out what was the issue, So i think someone left the driver side window down in a rain storm seat got soaked water got into the heated seat module and corroded the tiny contacts, I used a mini file cleaned the contacts shot electrical cleaner thru both the module and plugs also super mini wire brush to clean plugs, put it back together, everything it working perfect for now ....

thank you for sending me in the right direction you saved me alot of $$$
