Default TOWN & COUNTRY WON'T STAY RUNNING

OUR 97 TOWN & COUNTRY HAS HAD PROBLEMS FOR A LONG TIME NOW. IT WILL RUN JUST FINE, AND THEN INTERMITTENTLY IT WILL NOT STAY RUNNING. I CAN GO INTO A STORE AND WHEN I COME OUT IT WILL TURN OVER BUT NOT RUN. SOMETIMES ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS COME ON, OR WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING THE DASH STOPS WORKING AND THEN COMES BACK ON. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT MIGHT STAY ON, BUT NOTHING SHOWS UP ON COMPUTER CHECK. THE HORN & CRUISE CONTROL DO NOT WORK WHEN IT IS ACTING UP. THEN WHEN IT DOES RUN, IT MIGHT RUN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS OR MONTHS. IT HAS PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE OVER THE 6 YEARS WE HAVE OWNED IT. AT FIRST IT WOULD ONLY DO IT ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR, AND THE NEXT DAY IT WOULD START. BUT NOW IT IS HAPPENING MORE OFTEN, AND WILL NOT RUN FOR WEEKS.

with all that stuff going on at once it could be either a wire problem grounding out or a module issue. I know we have seen a few wire issues in the driver side fender area a wire may become worn and cause havoc for all very hard to trace if that is it though. This is only from my exp i am not telling you to rip out all the wiring in your van. I am not a teck i just watcha good one al day long( i work in parts) and i pick up a few things as well.

Double check the fuel pressure see if you're getting enough fuel. When it doesn't start, try hooking up a scanner and see if it'll link with the computer.
