Transmission Fluid Change Advice

Transmission Fluid Change Advice
I own a 2003 Chrysler T & C with 30,000 original miles. I am not having any problems with the transmission and would like to stay that way. But I do recognize that the fluid in the transmission is 17 years old. Should I change it? Power flush? I am reluctant on the power flush because my vehicle leaks no fluids and I have heard that power flush can mess with the seals. Any other recommendations for maintenance of a 17-year-old vehicle with no problems will be appreciated. Thanks.

Make certain Firestone (or any repair shop) will use ATF+4 and not anything else with snake-oil added (aka LubeGard). Despite what anyone claims or says, it is not the same. If there is any doubt, make them show you the atf+4 bottles as it does not come in a big barrel. Not using atf+4 will likely cause you problems 1-2 years down the road as the lubegard wears out.
