haha, thanks goggs, I needed cheering up!
Turbo is eliminated now too, so it's back to looking like the flex-plate so me and my pa are now going to drop the auto-box and take a look. Ordered the flexplate and casing from chrysler dealership, came to under £100 which wasn't bad to be honest.
This one I will take photos of as that'll be quite a big job to work through.
