Default wheel bearings

Hi
I have a 'werrring' from a front wheel-----I changed the wheel for a rear one to eliminate the tyre---I spun the wheel while it was jacked up and could feel and hear it------can I assume it's the wheel bearing (not something deep inside the gearbox assy. ???)
If it IS the wheelbearing, what sort of job is it to change ???----is it just a 'normal' bearing or would I need a huge press and remove the engine to change it ??
Thanks for any advice

The bearing/hub comes as and assembly. About £50 for the part.
Not too bad to change. Theres a useful video on youtube

Hi Richard
Thanks for that------would you be able to tell if their bits are cheap and cr*p or if the quality is OK ??
I will be after the f.wheelbearing assy front brake pads and thermostat assy (for now)
Nigel
BTW-----no sign of air-bag light problems

Their unit is in Colindale, NW London - just a few streets away from where I grew up, amazing how much has changed and how much is the same!

Anyway the parts they have are a mix of Mopar genuine, OEM and aftermarket depending upon the part. Quality is very hard to assess on parts - I've had stuff that's come out of main dealers that looks like it was knocked up in a backstreet Chinese workshop. The A/C clutch assembly that I picked up was an aftermarket unit and it looks fine and I fitted it this evening without any major hassles.

Would I use them again?, yes if the price of the part is right.

Regards
Richard
