You're not helping yourself. No model year or engine given. Even then there's only a limited crowd who has ever delt with it and that would probably be a few techs.

Its a 06 2.8 TD Auto.

 

Do these wires go to Autobox, only one with same would know.
Did you get wires repaired ?

 

No I've not got around to it. I taped the wires so they don't short out and it drives fine now but I still don't know what they are for.

 

I can't believe no one knows where these two wires go.

 

Many members on the forum and readers just popping in are from the US. No diesels here. That eliminates a big chunk of the audience including me.

Another point. Is that big red blob in the middle a scratch out and the only thing you're pointing out is the wire harness highlighted by the red arrow on the left?
