Whole car vibrates when in neutral
Hi all,
Have a 2010 grand voyager 2.8crd with about 110k miles that vibrates a substantial amount when in neutral, lessons when accelerating and even worse when switching to reverse. The vibrations aren't noticeable when accelerating, its just quite literally when in neutral, stationary in first and even worse when in reverse. Had the gearbox rebuilt at 70k due to a complete loss of a power but i'm concerned they never did that right as suffered from heavy gear dropping (clunks) for a while but they quite literally vanished at about 90k miles. Injectors were cleaned last year, engine mounts new at 70k. Also, first gear when starting from cold can be very sluggish, have to really rev it to make any sort of movement.
Anyone get any idea as to what this could be or at least where to start? I'm thinking it might be the torque converter but i'm really no wiz at these things. Thanks all!
