Hi, I have looked at the manual for wiring towbar socket, but i cant get any sense regarding the wiring. I look at the picks at page 8w 54 in the manual, I have tried splicing into the loom but no joy at the lighting board. I do have L&R indicators & brake lights, but when i switch the side lights on all goes silly, Plus the hazards...The relay goes mad in the dash. I have check the earth wires etc, Just wondering if this yr on this car(2008) grand voyager stow & go has a dedicated loom. Can anyone advise me please.Ta.

Default Rear Loom Wires.

Just for check, look at wires under carpet at your rear door and see if they resemble the ones in my picture. My 2003 Voyager the loom comes up centre of vehicle and splits off near/off side at rear door. You might be on different wiring though.

Well, I've given it my best shot. We'll have to see if it quirks when I connect it up. One thing - when I connected to the white/tan wire leading to the LH tail light, I noticed after making the connection that there was another wire, also white/tan grading inn the same direction. But it'd a 50/50 thing going on!
Any ideas?

If I remember there's like two earth wires going out of each light unit so watch out. One true earth wire to chassis point near light n/s. Then other goes to a switch I think then earth. Confucius.

Had quick look. As for Offside rear..
Black wire covers 3 lights for earth..
White/yellow wire covers 1 light for earth.
