I have narrowed the problem down to this. Trans shift good from a stop to full cruse speed (1-4). trans down shifts normally (4-1) from cruse to stop. the only area i have a problem is when i slow down enough (but not stop) to down shift into 2nd gear then accelarate, it shifts "stinking hard" into 3rd (hard enough to break the motor mounts). this only happens when it is hot as well. I have changed the filter and fluid (ATF+4), removed cleaned and reconnected all of the electrical plugs. i dont mind spending a little money to fix it but what do i buy? Solenoid pack? any help would be great!!!
