Default 1999 plymouth breeze wiring issue

Posted this is the new member area. So i have a 1999 plymouth breeze. Ive discovered there isnt enough power reaching the ignition coil. I checked the orange striped green wire that goes from the alt to the ignition coil and its only reading about 9 volts of power to the coil. I replaced the alternator about a month ago so im not too sure about it being the alternator but i do recognize its a possibilty. Any tips for this? Im fairly new to this kinda thing so i need as much help as i can get. Thanks
