Default Central Locking Issue

Hello...I'm new to the forum...
I have a 2005 2.8 Grand Voyager and the central locking has started to play up. It will NOT work with the fob UNLESS the key is in the ignition and it is turned to ''ON''. I recently replaced the car battery and since then the radio has also stopped working ( no power ) and the dials 'flip' when the key is turned. I've read where it seems that the battery is not strong enough.. The battery is an Optima CCA (EN) - 815A....CA-1000A....C20-50Ah...Spiral Size-RTC42......thats all the information on the top of the battery. I've taken the lead from the battery and left it off for a while..reconnected it but its still the same...I've also taken the IOD fuse out....and all other fuses are ok.
Hoping someone can shed some light on this.
Thanks.

"I've also taken the IOD fuse out."

Was it bad? Did you put it back in?

The IOD (Ignition Off Draw) fuse feeds the radio (clock), remote unlock receiver and the power seats. You are complaining about two of the three and silent about the third. IOD fuse would be the first thing to replace. Sometimes they "look" good but are still bad. It's a cheap replacement.

By the way, you have posted in the "Forum Issues" section of the site. It's for people having issues with the forum. If you have issues with your car, in your case a Grand Voyager, you are best advised to post in the Grand Voyager and Town & Country section. It's very active with many users and you are far more likely to get a response.
