06' Chrysler 300 No start
Hello, new to the forum and need some Chrysler 300 help. I have a Chrysler 300 that i replaced the engine in with a used motor. I have the car back together and had been driving it with little to no issues. The only issue is occasionally it would stall while in gear and stopped? But recently it wont start? Let me explain, the original starter worked for me but was very loud, one day the car would not start, it would engage the starter but not spin the motor. So I assumed the starter being noisy went bad. I replaced the starter with a new one, the car started nicely for a week. So I figured I got a bum starter. I returned it and bought a new starter from Napa. Installed the new starter and car does the same, turn the key and attempt to start it seems to engage and barely turn engine, I can see the harmonic balancer spin ever so slightly. So i began checking wires and voltage etc. I found this I have 12.7 volts to battery side of starter, I have 12.6 volts to the solenoid wire when disconnected and I turn the key to start. I have a burst of 12.6 for a split second then no power to starter lug (still 12.7 to battery lug on starter) and no starter spin. Power also drops from solenoid wire. Please help!
