Default 07 pacifica start up and transmission

I won an 07 Pacifica with the 4.0 engine. When I start the engine the car rumbles on start. Its not smooth at all. Also when driving the car the shifts are slow and clunky. Sometimes it feels like the cars stalls a little when it shifts.
The engine on start up feels like it jumps around. Its kind of hard to explain, but the dealer said it needs new Engine mounts. Mileage is under 30000. I have heard that the transmissions and torque converters on these cars suck.

It sounds like you have a vacuum problem somewhere. If not a gasket or hose, perhaps an EGR valve or PCV valve is faulty.

The mounts could possibly be just loose, but if the motor jumps around more than an inch or so, you should find and fix it.

Also, check your fluid levels if you haven't. Be sure to add the correct fluid. Chrysler trannys are particular about that.

Question? At 30,000 miles, wouldn't you still have a warranty even though you won it? You may want to contact Chrysler directly.
