Default 1987 strut question

say has anyone bought struts from rock auto recently? i'm just wondering if you did were they serviceable struts? i got some from a seller off ebay and when i got them they were junk one did not move and one took over a minute to fully extend. so now i'm into a return with them. so i was looking at rockauto but being most are in closeout i'm concerned that they may be bad as well. so old they are now serviceable at all.

otherwise does anyone happen to know if newer car struts will fit the lebarons so i can get some that still may be in production. thanks bp.

Default Rock Auto is solid - You choose the parts though

Go with normal/OEN quality generally and not the 'economy' offerings.

I just ordered some 10 minutes ago from Rock Auto , for a 1994 Lebaron.

MONROE 2171819L5959 Suspension Kit$ 224.79-1$ 224.79
includes:
MONROE 5959 Shock Absorber $21.75 x 2
MONROE171819R Strut / Coil Spring / Mount Assembly $ 90.65
MONROE171819L Strut / Coil Spring / Mount Assembly $ 90.64

I have used them in the past on 2 camry's and a Ford Taurus.

This discount code will get you 5% off:

6449649951407340 - Expires 8/20/2017

Use it in the 'where did you hear about us' box.

Also, if you can wait until October, Monroe always have discount coupons for cash back, 4 shocks for the price of 3 etc. 'Shocktober' discounts.
I need these now so can't wait.

Default Dont assume my part numbers will fit your car though

PS: The ones I just ordered were for a 1994, so you need to make sure yours are for the correct year model.

thanks. i was asking because of the age, they are now nos parts and like i said the first set from a different sell were bad. but lets see how many others have had luck with rock auto parts. one other this is i did get the incorrect parts once from them and they did take them back and then they sent me replacement parts and those were for the wrong car and they would not take them back so i was stuck with them. that put a sour taste in my mouth for rock auto. again thanks
