1999 chrysler 300m transmission issues

Default 1999 chrysler 300m transmission issues

I have 99 chrysler 300m. The car has 193k, i had issue with trans,it not go past 45mile an hour. I just changing solenoid pack,filter and trans fluild. Put all back together in place.Tart the car let they warm up then shift to reveres that five,when i put in drive the car just cut off. I no idea why they do that.
Could you help me with that problem. Thank you very much.

It has 3.5 v6.It was go to slim mode can't not past 45 miles.

Plug in a code reader, see what it reads.

I just put the key on and off for 3 times, and saw the code is p1684. I don't know what is for

What is error code p 1684?
P 1684 is "Battery disconnected within last 50 starts"
What is error code p 168...

Did you get a p0340 also?

P0340
Camshaft position sensor circuit
Most likely cause : Camshaft position sensor failed.

P1684
means the battery was disconnected(or had been drained to a low voltage)

Because, no check engine light on,so i do not see another code .

FWIW 99-01 speed sensors prone to failure, 02 and up solenoid pack suspect. Have the codes read with a code reader. Trans codes other than p0700 do not show up with the "key dance"
