2001 PT Cam sensor problem ?? HELP!
Hi, all, I posted this in the PT forum but saw more recent posting in here so thought I'd try to post something here too. Anyway ...
Hi, I've had my 01 for about 2 years now, the other day it just died on the road as I was waiting to make a left-hand turn. Couldn't get it started again, after a computer was hooked to it, it said CAM sensor failure, so my husband just replaced that today yet the car still won't turn. We are wondering what else it could be - is it possible it could be maybe the timing belt? Or does anyone else have any possible other suggestions? The lights, radio, etc., all work, but it just refuses to crank up. Can someone offer some advice on what else it could be?
Thanks in advance!

for starters (does it turn over, click or do nothing) is the
starter any good and does the battery have enough volts to turn the
engine, if the answer is yes the remove the timing cover and see
if the belt is turning.
