well its to damn cold and windy right now to take a good look at it. I guess my talon should not be put in the garage for the winter Girlfriend will have to take the cavalier to work today.

well there is power to the DIS so makes me believe the control module is bad?

 

u mean the distributor right??? if u got power at the Dis then the pcm is good there is not a direct wireh right from the pcm to the dis they are spliced into other sensors that use the 8 volts and grounds if they also did not work then yeah pcm but u only have the dis not working.
SOunds liek teh DIs is bad to me and a factory one is up there 800 900 bucks aftermarket u get what u pay for

Well i got the new Distributor , installed it and the car fired right up. It was really easy to put in. Since i had to take the upper intaker off to change plugs anyways it made it real easy to take the distributor out.
