Blower motor resister??
After reading through a few posts I am figuring that this is quite a common problem with the Pacifica. I bought the new resister without taking the old one out first, followed instructions on another post and figured out were the part was and removed it. When I tried to install the new part I found out that one of the pig tails is not the same? On the old part there are four tabs and on the new part there are six. The old part the tabs are positioned vertically in a row and the new part the tabs are in two horizontal rows of three? Can anyone help me out on this? Is there a plug adaptor that I need to buy or did I get the wrong part all together?
Thanks in advance,
Rich

Manual temp control (MTC) uses a resistor pack.
Dual Zone Auto temp control (ATC) uses a Blower Control Module. This is the one with two connectors, a 6 pin and a 2 pin.
From your description it sounds as if you got the part for ATC and your car has MTC

Thanks for the reply goldsmi, it turned out they gave me the wrong part. With the information that you gave me I was able to ask about the manual temp control and the dual zone auto temp control and it might have made me sound like I knew what I was doing. I think you get better service if you at least appear to know what you are talking about. Thanks again!!
