Default Brake issues

I have a 2005 Pacifica AWD 3.5. The other day I changed the oil and rotated the tires. No big deal. I noticed right after that when I press on the brakes, there is a clicking noise coming from the center console where the shifter is. It sounds like a relay click or something. All I have to do is tap the brakes and this happens. I have never heard this before and I have had this car for 1 1/2 years. Any thoughts? I wouldn't think the oil or tires would make this happen. Help!

Default RE: Brake issues

its called a shift interlock relay been on all cars for years now U have alwase had it more then likely u are tuned into it now. It stops the shifter from being moved with out having the brake on aka a child getting into the car and making it go from park to netural.
