i have a 1997 chrysler sebring 2.7L V6 LXI. At first the car began locking up whenever i came to a complete stop. the lights would flash across the dashboard and then the car wouldn't move when i pressed the gas pedal and the stering wheel would lock up. it was like the car lost all power. i would have to place the car in park and then restart the car. Now the car won't start at all. when i turn the key the radio comes on, the lights comes on and i hear a clicking sound but the car will not star. no engine turnover. any ideas what could be causing these problems

 

Sounds like your alternator was going bad, and then the battery drained.
