Default Check engine light on

Original owner of a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica touring 4.0 FWD.

Over the past few years the check engine light has been on which is being caused by a cracked fuel pump/evap vent hose on top of the gas tank. Anyway, I’m not willing to put anymore money into the vehicle and just want to permanently disable the light. Any suggestions on how to do this, can I simply pull a fuse?

no you cant disable the light its a federal law requiring it to be on due to an issue with the emissions. put tape over the light

I guess tape will have to do. I appreciate the quick response. Any suggestions on an easier way to replace and get to the cracked vent hose
without dropping the gas tank down or cutting through the floorboard?
