Emergency Brake

Default Emergency Brake

I have a 2000 T.C.van the E-brake is stuck on how to releive it for drive home is the question..I would like a photo of the e-brake system is it to the wheels or transmission?Can I do it myself with out a hoist on the side of road?Need the information asap for must move the van this A.M. Never seen one connect to the transmission. It is connected to the rear wheels, get a pair of angle cutters, crawl under the car on the drivers side and find the cable leading from the front to the rear brakes, and give it a good snip. Make sure your cutting the right thing too! Sorry no pics.
