Fluid drive transmission

Default Fluid drive transmission

I am having trouble with my 1947 Chrysler shifting from second into third. I would also like to have an explanation on how the fluid drive transmission works. For example does it work electrically or by vacuum. Thanks

Hi, new to site and saw your post. have a manual that shows the fluid drive repair (had a 50 Highlander with the 4spd fluid drive) it shifts electrically. let mje know if you still need info
