Front passenger rattling when reving
When I accelerate up to around 35mph or beyond there starts a what seems like metal rattling pinpointed from under the car more on the front passenger side. The rattling only occurs when reving the engine, and at speeds generally 35mph+ not less. Again it only occurs when the engine is reved and is a continue rattle until you let off the gas it stops. My thoughts was a possible heat shield rattle and if so how could I check that? Any other thoughts? I have tried uploading a video of the sound!
thank you

Get the car securely up on jack stands. Have a friend rev the engine to the correct RPM while you observe under the hood and/or under the car for the source of the noise. You may need to remove the wheel and/or splash shields to get a good view. Be careful and use common sense when doing this. Make sure you lift bot front wheels off the ground. DON"T just jack up the car. Proper jack stands are a must.
It's also possible that it is an internal baffle in the catalytic convertor. You won't see anything vibrating but you should be able to locate the source of the noise.
