I think he may be talking about the rear heater in a Grand Voyager. Things to check:
Engine coolant level.
Flow to the rear heater coil: feel the hoses, if both hot, good. If only one hot, there's a blockage.
Controls.
Fan operation.

Hi
As he is from the UK his is probably a diesel and so it with be the accilary cabin heater. things to check are fuses, fuel level (as if low it will not cut in), other then that it will be a dealer job as we would need the fault codes out of the heater module to help more.
