horn no longer beeps when alarm activated

Default horn no longer beeps when alarm activated
The short horn beep that accompanies alarming the security system on my 2000 300M no longer occurs. The alarm is fully functional in all other aspects. Is there a programming option to change this behavior? If so, how is it accomplished?

put a ground wire on the steering col.
