I have been trying to find a place that sells body control modules for my 99 LHS and cannot find anywhere like autozone that sells them, anybody got any ideas where to find one. also if I get one from salvage yard does it have to be programed to work?

 

the mileage is stored in teh bcm so it will have the miles from the used bcm U put in

 

Here's a service that repairs them. Looks like it might be a bit pricey but they will give you an estimate.

Several years ago I found a service on eBay that swapped a reprogrammed engine computer for about $200. If you look, you might find one for your BCM.
