Window Regulator Failures - 2014 Town & Country
Looking for advice -- I've never had an issue with any car brand power windows until the 2014 Town & Country. As of today, I've now had failures with different components of four different window regulators. I've had the front passenger side replaced once, and now this is the third time I'll have to replace the driver's side.
This appears to be OEM part issue (as plenty of other forums have similar stories), but is there something I could/should be doing to limit these regulators from failing? Or a newer part number that's better/stronger but is also compatible with the 2014 T&C?
On a side note, the FIRST time it happened, I took it to a dealership for service and was frustrated that it happened on a not quite 3-year-old vehicle. The service manager said (almost verbatim): "Well, it's three years old. These cars aren't designed to last forever!" When did that become bar for manufacturers? That it's normal for vehicles to fall apart at 3?
