Default Windshield scratches

Has anybody had any success with products to remove windshield scratches? A previous owner of my '01 Sebring convertible let the wipers scratch the glass. The scratches aren't deep but they are visible. I bought some stuff at Autozone called NicSand 5 minute Auto Glass Resurfacing. Despite the name, a half hour of polishing produced no results. It was a complete waste of time and money. If there's something on the market that actually works I'd be happy to hear about it.

I don't think there are any do it yourself products that work. I looked. I had the same problem. In my local areaI founda glass refinishing company that specializes in that. They repaired my windshiedl for $175. about $300 less than a new windshield would have cost. You might look into such a company.

About 3 decades ago I used a product called "Glass Wax". I haven't seen it in years, but then, I haven't looked for it either. It took forever and about a ton of elbow grease, but it worked.
