My check engine light is on, is there a way to get the codes and find out what they mean? My car seems to run allright. My car is the pacifica 04 .

go to an auto parts store and have then hook a scanner up to it.

I had the codes checked and the problem is a fifth cylinder missfire, what is the suggested fix for this? My dealer wants to do a full dignostic.
