Default hi all, i need your help please!

hi all
i have a 1995 new yorker.
i joined this site hoping to learn more about my car and others lol
and, I relly need help cuz the speedometer on my new yorker wobbles relly bad, like up-down-up-down when i accelerate.
i replaced the gauge cluster and it still does it, but not as bad.
i'm thinking it's the ground thats loose going to the speedo, but i'm not sure. it's all electrical, not the old fashion speedo cable.
could anyone plz help me
thx

ps. here a link to a vid to show what it does,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeaQgQFMgiY

About the only thing that can usually be "fixed" is if it's sticking. If it's broken, would usually have to be replaced. At transmission end there will be either a screw on connection like a jar lid, or possibly a clamp with a bolt holding it in. Then at the speedometer head end, will usually be a screw on connection, or possibly some sort of spring clip arrangement. If the speedometer needle is bouncing up and down, you can hang the cable up, and feed WD-40 down between the cable and the cable housing and let it soak in. The transmission end is usually where the corrosion is. If the speedometer needle doesn't move at all, the cable is probably broken. The cable may have broken or the gear in the transmission that turns it may have stripped, not a big deal to fix usually in compare to other Chrysler parts.
