My current project is:
Just recently bought a 95 Lebaron convertible, drove it across the US and then after fixing it's flaws, sold it for a very nice profit.
Now I have a 92 New Yorker Salon that i'm trying to do some fixing and updating to.
The good:
Car runs great.
Paintwork is nearly perfect.
Leather is flawless.
Almost everything works as it should.
Has less than 40,000 miles on it, and was garage kept forever.
The bad:
One window motor is dead (will simply rebuild it).
One B pillar trim is missing (I have one on the way).
Odometer no longer works (I have a new gear set on the way).
Headliner must be replaced (Is currently supported with some wood strips).
Tires are 10 years old and have to go (Tread looks like they have maybe 300 miles on them).
The plan:
Fix all the above.
New tires AND custom rims (Going with 16 or 17 inch rims).
Lower the car (This so far has proved to be a problem as no one makes progressive lowering springs for these cars).
Anyone able to help with a possible lead on the spring thing? I do not want to go with airbags.
